Performers’ PACT is a formally constituted group of performers, artists and art workers that have come together to pledge an amount of their personal time to run performance workshops and entertainment for groups or individuals that may usually find arts provision inaccessible or unaffordable.
The time pledged would usually fall within low -season (non-busy days). The performers give their time freely as their pact or pledge and will supply the majority of equipment needed. Some costs such as for transport etc may be requested.
All members are encouraged to have their own public liability insurance to run sessions as workshop leaders and they are subject to disclosure checks where applicable.
Performers' PACT will strive not to take work from ‘Working Performers’,we are about generating local level community involvement, training for the public and our members and to increase art appreciation and involvement.
